>>11178683Which SF2 stuff exactly? People have been praising every SF2 release more than the previous one. The only exception I remember is Chun Li's face and people seem to be divided on that one
As far as Edgerunners goes, the figures look more than solid, plus the cloth (which seems to be great so far as well) is a new thing which is always a chore at the very beginning of a line. You can't possibly expect figures to be perfect in the very first wave. There needs to be some trial and error before you get to the top but so far, I really don't see the mistkaes you seem to be addressing
>>11178688Who the fuck seriously wants a Roll figure? I always thought that was a joke. Now Rush, Bass, and Dr Light I totally get but Roll is boring as fuck
>>11178694>It will become lower over timeAs a company expands on its portfolio, it does happen to a certain extent. However, if your standard quality is high, less mistakes are prone to happen.
>McFarlane Toys used to be great but as it grew it also turned to shitI assume your comment on McFarlane is genuine so I don't want to sound like a dick but you couldn't be any more wrong. Do you even remember the shit shows Batman and Superman #1000 were? Terrible articulation, horrible head sculpts, lackluster proportions, and shitty accessories. Things have gotten worse and better at the same time but it's a zero sum game if you ask me when it comes to McFarlane
>>11178738>maybe he will even grow lazy and complacent as time goes onThe only thing I see happening is him not having the time to personally do the quality control. The good thing is that he's putting in all the work now. If you have solid molds, the factories know what to pay attention to when painting figures, what type of articulation is the standard, it gets easier and faster in the future AND the quality is better from the get go. You put in the effort at the very beginning to reap the fruits more easily later on
