I have not bought anything from flea markets/yard sales/expos in a while, the last time I did was a Marjorette Aerospatiale Gazelle Police helicopter which I spent maybe $3 on (it was worth $10 at the time). It was/is in near mint condition.
For background, the blue "Police" version is surprisingly uncommon, the more popular versions were the Gendamarie and both the red and white "Rescue" versions. It is not rare, though, and there are rarer versions of this toy, which are the white "Police" version, Safari, Securite Civile, Croix Rouge, "Pompier", "President", "Television" and Ewing Oil versions. It might seem misleading though, since I would estimate 80% of all Gazelles sold were Gendamarie and "Rescue", wile the other 20% was everything else.
