I know this is a long shot, but I decided to make an open source version of the Digimon virtual pets using arduino and I was wondering if anyone is interested in collaborating?

The goal is to make what is essentially the ultimate vpet which can utilize features from the various different generations and even connect to real virtual pet devices. Also greater variety in evolution trees and egg variety. And, for people who aren't interested in digimon characters, the option to replace them with other popular characters like Pokemon, Tamagotchi, the Chao from Sonic, etc. Also 3D printed cases with various options like keychain (original), watch, etc.

I found a similar project which someone had already started. They implemented the UI but then stopped. I plan to create this as a fork of that project since some of the work is already finished.

Would anyone be interested in working on this together? Even if you're not that interested in Digimon it could be fun if you're interested in raising other characters like Pokemon or Chao or something else. If anyone wants to collab I'll set up a Discord where we can hash out ideas etc.
