Well, that display, if I recall correctly, showed off a "Brave New World" display showing more of a utopian theme complete with a variety of figs in different skin tones but I digress!
That display/presentation was unfortunately just that it seems but it gave us some hope for a long standing toyline that was og and was fun.

I miss 1/18 threads. they just kind of died as HASBRO and Marvel shifted to the larger scales.
But damn there's so much out there.
LEGO will never do a S.T.A.L.K.R. (non bootlegs) and MEGA sure as hell won't.
(unless somehow the game becomes terribly unpopular in a year then MEGA will announce a build with 3 figures max and then they will never make another)
I could make a thread but that wouldn't mean anyone would post.

Smalljoes has a metric fuckton of older OoD MEGA figures.
They are pricey but where the heck else are you going to find them.
Hell, TRU Canada is closing stores now.

Heh I got a couple of the Halo Cyclops sets at saveon and pic related from london drugs, I remember cuz I was applying to work at a nearby safeway at the time. Never got the job but in the long run it was the best outcome. I remember seeing one or two TOS sets at a different london drugs, pretty sure I bought mine off amazon though. Amazon, TRU and walmart were by far my sources for mega, actually just bought the Renegade Banshee at walmart cuz it was a rollback.

I am sure there are sets lying around everywhere. The trick is finding them for a reasonable price because they kind of forgot about them.
I"m hoping to find some Vault Dwellers on Ebay or Ali though. I can live with a little parts swapping even. I would rather them than the set.

thanks, the madmax/T-28 guys were photoshopped w some publicity ad for the car. i bought some tmnt figures for the blue jkt. only gripe i have is that the figures are not consistent with their part sizes for customs. u can get away with some but a lot of it was hit and miss.

desert outpost was a cool little set, pissed me off i could a lot of what was around at the time i started collecting ie 2016 but almost around then it was getting hard to get stuff, not impossible (got the Vietnam gunboat - saveon 1/2 price) and got the space rover vehicle for a good price on Amazon at the time. but its tiny sets like the desert outpost I was frustrated in not getting lol

just popped into smalljoes. yr not kidding , not cheap, i seen worse on eBay, who hasn't lol. I see sets in the 25-40 range which i am tempted to get. ali express MAYBE something but its hit/miss there too

Now that you mention it, not sure I ever saw that particular set anywhere else. It was almost like saveon and london drugs tapped into a supply of toys that never really made it to shelves at the usual suspects, feel like it was a similar story for those Cyclops sets. And then of course the liquidation centre suddenly had stacks upon stacks of Terminator and AssCreed stuff the one year... The weirdest one for me remains the January 2019 finding of Halo Series 2 blindbags at a Dollarama, 8 years after their original release.

I"m gonna have to see what the lot of 5 Bee Men looks like when it shows up.
The Spider-bros will probably work better as more menacing "bad guys" so I will possibly make an order for those later in the month.
If MEGA had actually offered them as singles I probably would have bought at least 1 - but they didn't.

He's been at his post for enough time to have seen the glow before sunrise and now it is an hour before sunset.
