>>11253688I miss Hasbro's 1:18 Joes, they put out some crazy nice figures back in the day. Sure there may have been a few stinkers here and there, but they hit way more then they missed. I remember the third wave of Retaliation was *all* just fantastic figures, some of the best they ever put out, and it was this crazy mix of 80s figures, movie versions, OC new characters and even comic Kwinn snuck his way into the line. And even though they all came from different sources, they all just worked perfectly together.
They also made some of the best vehicles around, at least when they put effort into em anyway. Though Acid Rain seems to be taking that spot these days, and not just because of the excessive lack of competition, they just make some nice trucks (and then repaint the thing ad infinitum....and I still want to buy each one). Hasbro's Star Wars vehicles and playsets are still killer, unfortunately the VC figures themselves more often then not just suck.
Now I do love the Classified stuff, they're some of the best 1:12 figures on the market right now. But I do wish there was a way Hasbro could've kept in the 1:18 game as well, because once they get going, they always start popping out some of the best damn figures you'll find in that scale.
