>>11264681Well I got mine open and it's sturdy, though not a totally comfortable sturdy like Fanstoys or Fanshobby ratchets. I would say super mode stands much more firmly than Fanshobby's Armada Prime with Jetfire and Overload attached.
Two tabs for the cannons to slot in a resting position are broken, and I assume it has something to do with the battery? I swear it should have come with like two batteries but might have been yanked out for shipping reasons, thus the toy got damaged in the process. It's an assumption but I don't care since I want him to hold the cannons out.
Ratchet spacing is weird. Always a little pushing you have to give before it clicks. It's not loose where shaking it will make the joints flop madly but you can rest the legs or arms between the ratchets, which I don't recommend. Thigh ratchets are tight as hell.
Knee has a little give though, and an arm wobbles a bit. Again not loose to be a problem but it's sloppy. It feels like the Matrix chamber can't close properly when the matrix is in but I gotta do more wiggling to make sure later.
The wings are light but sturdy. One of the rotating armatures is loose but I'll see to trying to tightening it up with floor polish later. All the ratchets are fine on it but the wings. They have the most give but you have to give it a good shake to loosen them up.
I thought it was kind weird how you can't fill out the calves entirely for the super mode.
There's a weird smell? I'm not sure if it is from the packaging or the figure itself or my allergies getting to me but hopefully it goes away.
The articulation is fair. Wrists are the weakest bit by far because they don't turn a whole lot, and the ankles are probably limited to always keep it in a balanced position. Neck joint is weird. It's easier to articulate when in it's normal mode.
Looks? I think it's the most gorgeous looking transformer I've ever owned. The red is immaculate and the paint seems nicely done. Transformation for everything is nice.
