>>11264303Necrons can be VERY finicky, which is why I have a box of tomb blades sitting forever in my pile of shame lmao. Try cleaning the surface with some scrapes of the blade, or a little sanding down, to expose clean, pure plastic. Make sure your super glue is pure, and not the semi-dried gloop that sometimes is stuck in the nozzle, and gently put the pieces together (plastic cement would be worse in this case, because that wants you to hold the pieces together in place for a bit, which is especially difficult if your trying to connect a tiny hand to a tiny little wrist).
>>11264046Depends on what your talking about, because some stuff is actually extremely cheap for what you get. Example; the basic intercessors, or the original four pack runs, as they're all great for $25 or less a piece.
Yeah, something like the BA praetor is up there at like $70, but it is an entirely new AND unique sculpt, all painted well, as well.
>>11264041Honestly dude, go with the brand name paints (citadel), because they worked SOOO much better than any other, as a newbie. Like, it was almost day and night when I finally tried them in my first year of learning to paint. After that, though, stay AWAY from the citadel brand lol!
Brushes, nippers, blades, handles, etc, just go generic, or fucking improvised! There is no reason to pay $30+ for a plastic handle, when some sticky puddy and an old pill bottle does the trick. I use cheap ass $5 brushes from Walmart, because it's cheaper to cycle through those things like single use disposables, than pay $8+ for a single brush that might just die after two uses anyways.
