>>11270855>Is Ghidorah as bad as people say?I have the SCV for both the Hiya and the SHMA so I'll say It really depends on if you value sculpt or articulation.
The Hiya is a great looking statue, but the articulation is ass. Even with the updated neck articulation the range of articulation in the three is very poor. The Wing articulation which people tried to meme as being the reason its better than the SHMA is really bad and feels worse to pose than the super fragile wing articulation in the SHMA Showa Gigan. Like a lot of Hiya's figures he looks like he's more articulated than he actually is.
>>11283108>Hiya or Monsterarts I'll go through each of the monsters
>GodzillaIt's easily Hiya. I vastly prefer the SHMA's level of articulation, but the Hiya looks so much better and it feels like the size that the SHMA should have been. I will never not be mad about how much smaller they made the Monsterverse Godzilla's when compared to Shin Godzilla.
>Konguntil the new Hiya Kong comes out, it easily goes to SHMA. Yeah, it's inaccurate, but so are both of Hiya's attempts, and the SHMA has way better articulation than either of the Hiya figures, especially Hiya's first good awful attempts.
>Mothraeasily Hiya. It really isn't even close.
>RodanI loathe the bendy wire, but the Hiya has much better paint than the SHMA so I'd give it to Hiya
>GhidorahIt's a wash. The Hiya is more of a statue than the figure with wings that can't be posed, but it actually looks like the Ghidorah from the movie and not the boxy headed concept art.
>Skull Crawler & FemMutoobviously Hiya since they are the only ones who made figures of them.
