Do commercial surgical arms exist?

Robotic arms that follow your exact movements, but miniaturized. So if you move your hands 1ft the robot moves 1mm.
Would be nice for painting figurines for people with shaking hands, or no dexterity.

Not for painting but back in the day when figures would be hand sculpted from clay or wax as 2-ups (twice the size of the final figure), they'd pantograph them so the final parts used in tooling would be the desired smaller size then the sculpted prototypes were made. Now with digital sculpting there's no need for that though.

That's what I've always done. Even if you are holding the object you are painting in one hand, I found bracing or resting my wrists against a table edge or even my knees works.

There is no cure for "shakey hands," you need to figure out what's causing your hands to shake and fix that problem. Usually, it's some sort of dietary or exercise deficiency, but if it's neurological, you'll need some kind of drug. There isn't any fix-all solution, you'll need to narrow it down.

Not with the level of detail you'd want.
Although I'd love to see someone drop a few million in buying the top of the line surgical robot arms just to paint up a few warhammer figures.

I have a pinched nerve at my elbow. Avoiding leaning on my elbow (nerve impingement) and keeping it straight when I sleep helps.

When will there be consumer grade versions of digital print tech used by bandai, hasbro, etc.? They print .pngs directly onto 3D surfaces.

I was surprised how relatively cheap some 3d printing technology is... But was wondering why 2d printing is not as huge of a change.
House printers are not really that great after many years they still kind of the same.
Printing proxies or backstages is not as great unless you go with an expensive printer

They exist. They're called UV printers. People are really only using the consumer models for printing on things like glassware, bottles, containers, phone cases, etc. But I guess there's no reason why anyone can't 3D print their own trays to hold specific figure parts (such as heads) and then place those in the printer
