For what the figure is, Apollo is still one of my favorite piece to pose, it's not perfect but the design and articulation have been very well meshed together and there isn't much in terms of compromises. I can't speak for the quality of different runs, though, since mine is from five years ago.

I totally understand you, man. I too love this theme with figures and a lot of hands.
It's so cool, though sometimes it takes a certain amount of challenge and skill to articulate figures like this. But it's fun, cheerfully fun.

He's especially good with a custom cloak.
Though of course there are more expensive and detailed options for Grievous, like real action figures. But bionicles have a special charm.

Just a shame the show was so ass, we might have gotten more models/figures otherwise. I don't know if I've ever been put off of a mecha show faster than after the vampire rape shit, completely derailed the story.

I don't know who originally came up with the mold and made the first prototype, but these are free to copy models from under a 3d printer, absolutely anyone can buy one and print them (with nuances)
That is why there are so many different offers in different price categories and configurations on Aliexpress or eBay.
