Fast forward to 2018, ordering from Canada was cheaper, bought different Revell kits from there, I was getting them in 10 working days, no custom fees despite our glorious workers going full nazi on fees, completely stopped ordering kit and decals from US and Canada, only ordered maybe two or three sunglasses frames from which I paid the fees before hand + shipment charges, I don't understand the trick there cause it felt like they opened the original package somewhere at Rotterdam, repacked it with their own address, everything was there but I fail to understand the need to repack my items.
One day I received a package from Japan, it costed me 1 yen + 500 yen for Buyee fees and around 1500 yen for shipping charges, delivery man was WTF I'm supposed to do here, had to phone the office, tell them item cost was basically 0 and handled it to me, next time item cost was 150 yen, got fucking taxed for it, had to pay 4 euro cause 95% of it was for inspection office and basically 50 cents was for custom fees, yet 150 yen is just 10 cents.
I don't use Ali, many of my friends do use it, site it's just too messy for my tastes, it's Amazon tier for my eyes and when store fronts are organized like that I'm quick to search elsewhere
