Also, if I recall, they mentioned the 13 descendants are based on energon types, so maybe that's at play.
Cause Slingshot is also from Alpha Trion, and we know Alpha Trion was directly involved in his creation in the g1 cartoon.
Silverbolt being the combiner *torso* and he's connected to Nexus. We won't get to know another combiner torso for a year, so that won't tip us off.
Waspinator being from Micronus makes sense because of the mini-bot nature.
Red altert connected to Prima seems to relate to their strong sense of good? It's kind of weak.
We don't know about Vortex, Crasher, Heatwave, or Skybyte yet.
I'd say if Skybyte is from Onyx, Quintus, Liege, or Megatronus, it'd make sense.
Heatwave is likely only Alchemist or Prima.
If the above pattern holds, Vortex *won't* be form Nexus, Crasher is likely gonna be from Solus or Maximo.
I don't think we'll really get much in the way of answers of what makes someone "a descendent" any time soon.
Wave 2 deluxe seems to be Crasher, Vortex, Alchemist, and I'm guessing we'll get skydive.
Wave 3 will likely be Micronus, Swindle, and Venom.
Wave 2's voyagers are likely just heatwave and Skybyte, meaning 3s will be Alpha Trion and Flatline.
Wave 2's second leader class is likely gonna be package refresh of Megatronus. I'm not sure we're getting a wave 3 leader in 2025 or it might just be repacks.
Not a lot of the characters this year have existing lore we can draw conclusions from.
