-Lopot Newcomers The Linear Sea Polynian series
began with the old-fashioned analog method of modeling and production by prototype designers. This year, which marks the 10th anniversary of the series, we have finally decided to transition to a completely digital design for the body itself!
The image on the right is an image model of the “FLL-V2” exhibited this time. The existing FLL body was scanned in 3D, and the symmetry errors that inevitably occur in analog prototypes were corrected to perfect symmetry, details were re-sculpted and reshaped, and the bust, waist, and hips were modified in accordance with the V2 body model that started with the Macaon. Furthermore, we have made changes to the modeling of the navel area this time.
Future new products will be developed based on the digital body. This will increase the overall quality of our figures and shorten the development period, allowing us to deliver new products more quickly.
FMM, IM, and MLL will be completed sequentially, aiming for a completely digital design. Please look forward to a further improvement of the Polynian series!
The head core and face, the most difficult part of the project. (Left side is analog prototype, right side is after digital brush-up.) The shape was adjusted to eliminate gaps, unnecessary C-face was eliminated, and the impression of the face was unadjusted. (The mouth expression is temporary.)
