>>11342998I think a lot of times a figure's cost is set due to how many of them they think they'll sell and the cost of the license.
So if they don't think it'll sell a ton, they'll sell it at a higher price and to keep shit fair, they'll include more shit with it. This is why they included a bunch of different heads and hands. Versus figures like Moon Knight, which was like $80, coming with just two heads and half as many hands.
Obviously, there's figures like the upcoming Doom that comes with even more shit, but that's because it's fucking Doom and people expect a lot out of it. So it's basically a deluxe figure. And since it's Dr Doom, they'll likely remake him a dozen times, so maybe a future release will be bare bones, like those Joker figures.
