I love Nerf and all the rapid improvements its made over the past few years with modding/hobbyist stuff and big brands starting to adopt the things it does right, but I wish 50 cal foam dart blasters that look like space guns didn't have to be the final form of toy guns. I don't even really know what I want instead, but nowadays every new thing that comes out is just another variation of a mag fed pump action springer or flywheeler and it's just the same shit in new configurations.
I wish there was at least wacky new ammo types and different firing engines or even just stuff that exists purely for play value like shell ejectors
