stego looks cool here but totally new body type plus complex paint gives me little hope of it looking as good in production and I suspect the articulation will be shit. Plus nearly $200.. yikes.

Still, if my cyberzoic items turn out decent I'll be willing to go back in pretty deep on the line, but as it is they've got work to do to get me back to blindly pre ordering big ticket items now that Mattel is putting out bangers for $20-40 and Namnu is crushing it.

The idea is that you're supposed have all the fun of figures and a playset, but small enough that you can fit it all in your pocket and take it to school to play with your friends.
I'm really glad to see these kinds of things making a come back.

I want all of those mini toys to come back. Micro-machines was awesome, and I thought we were gonna see a proper resurgence when those Star Wars ones came back, but we only got a few and no decent playsets outside of the TFA stuff, and the new cars are cool, but not licensed, so not AS cool as the older ones.
I had picrel as a kid, and even secondhand with a bunch of shit missing, it was fucking awesome. It's like Hot Wheels, but with more stuff to do than just "go fast."

Cool, but still no playsets and I doubt we’ll get any revealed at Toy fair. And the failed gates don’t count. I’ve been waiting since the 2015 for a proper Jurassic line, but Mattel has been shilling out repaint after obscure buttfuck Dino no one has EVER heard of. I mean the last time we got a human was in the Hammond collection and that was like half a year ago if not longer. Unless you count the ‘reimagined’ line (I don’t). Remember when toys were fun? Ffs just give it back to hasbro maybe if they still had it they’d have fixed their shit by now and gave us Kenner rereleases like they did for ALL OF THEIR OTHER LINES.

I was under the impression the Hammond collection was supposed to give us a wide array of humans along with the Dino’s. HC was first revealed back in what? 2022? 13 humans figs have been released since, if you include exclusives.

Jp3 spino is the only dinosaur that genuinely scares me. Its design reminds me more of a supernatural monster rather than a genetic experiment. Its unusual limb length as well as the head is just peak dino terror. He’s also the strongest dinosaur.

Not even referencing the fact Spinosaurus actually had comically short legs, because that wasn't known at the time, but the JP3 Spinosaurs' leg look out of proportion with the designs torso, almost like they too the very leggy legs of a juvenile tyrannosaurs and sized them up. Then there is the tail which looks way too short for its torso long neck, and head.
I do like the colors though, so it has that going for it.

I understand the general consensus is that JP3 is bad, and as a sheep you must follow the herd, but none of your Spinosaurus critiques make sense. Out if proportion legs? Dafuq are you on about? The tail is moderately sized his arms are longer to compensate that. And unlike a t rex he can use his arms and rotate his wrists. Giving him a longer tail would make him look a dragon. He looks like he’s designed to kill, the ultimate predator, the top predator (he did defeat the t rex flawlessly).

So what do you want? A more accurate looking Spinosaurus? He wouldn’t have the same impact and looks like shit. Or do you just hate the Spinosaurus because “hur dur JP3 bad.”?
