>>11358304>>11358486I'd say its mixed. On one hand, some of the material is a lot better than before, especially with the old clear plastic toys, and they've been bringing back old characters that can't be obtained now thanks to scalpers.
Despite this though, I did wish they had more fun features. I wouldn't mind the lack of a wrist swivel if the arm had a missile launcher, or if the waist couldn't rotate in exchange for a light up feature or sounds. Even light pipping would go a long way for some figures.
I look at SS86 Optimus and compare it to my ROTF Leader Optimus.
ROTF is much bigger and has lights and sounds. sure he can't pose as well as 86, but its fun to mess around with the lights and sounds.
Leader class used to mean something. They've also killed off core class, so no more small transformers, and those are my favorite.
