Any toylines out there you really wish were better than they are?
For me? McFarlane's Halo line. It was incredibly prolific, and the painting/sculptwork was decent enough, but as toys they kinda sucked. Articulation was generally poor to useless, QC was spotty, they often couldn't hold their weapons and getting them to stand up was universally a nightmare. Also the scale was some weird halfway-point between 1/12 and 1/18 so they scaled with nothing...including themselves, as between 3 and Reach they bumped up the size for seemingly no reason. The Grunts were the most notable case of this, with the Reach Unggoy towering over their Halo 3 predecessors (and also featuring useless V-crotches).
A shame as I really enjoyed Bungie-era Halo.
