OoT is just another "Ganon is getting the Triforce and we are going to stop him like we always do" game. MM is a case of the world is definitely ending and everyone will certainly die. And you are fighting to stop what feels like an inevitable fate.
Finishing OoT felt like finishing any other video game, but for some reason, when I got the "Dawn of a New Day" message in MM, it felt different. Like a sense of relief.
I still love OoT, I just love MM slightly more.
