If Mattel Brick Shop really takes over, hopefully they realize the value of the minifigures and that level of quality remains. They can make shitty lego minifigure clones like the cheaper Mega sets did too, if they want.

It feels like Mega Construx really perfected the aesthetic in a way no other minifig imitation ever came close. A good balance of more detail and articulation while not looking ugly. Kubricks never managed that, Minimates looked ugly, various chinese lines either simply clones Lego minifigs or did it worse.
the MC lines just clicked well.

Because they're not. They're basically little constructible (more than Mega figures) mini figures, nothing to do with blocks, despite the company name.

Correct. The 'building' aspect of Blokees is essentially to skirt around license rules. Example: Transformers figures that same size/scale are already being made by other companies, but since the Blokees are technically 'model kits' that you build yourself, they are categorized differently and can exist in the same regions as the other figures.

Honestly they apparently have no concept of what people want. Mattel is using the failing group as a loss leader.
Just the fact that I won't see any new figures (or find old ones like the cowboys or assassin's creed redcoats ) is disheartening.
I didn't and don't give a shit about anything but the figures really.

Halo is their only card left and even that they've completely squandered by just not doing anything with it. The upcoming CE remake is their only hope now, after that it's completely kaput.

Their Dragons theme, especially Metal Ages and after was perfection, along with the early Halo Wars waves. If they just stuck with that and refined those concepts they'd have that niche and still be printing cash. Genuinely retarded how it was handled.
