>>11385495No one gives a shit about even a quarter of the markets that Mattel covers, hence /toy/ only ever talking about the action figures.
Has /toy/ ever ONCE talked about the DC shit Mattel has been producing since the lost the license in 2020? Because Mattel never stopped making DC products, because they only lost the OLDER boys toys license, hence producing shit like this just the other year.
... along with DC board game shit, DC dolls, DC die cast vehicles, more DC toddler toys, DC plushies, DC bottle toppers, ... and who knows what else, because it's hard to search on amazon, because of how much old unsold shit still exists on Amazon from before 2020 that's still at retail or clearance prices, because Mattel products sell poorly.
Anyway, this is why McFarlane only took the action figure license and they did a 1000x better job at it than Mattel did, hence the DC General being one of the most popular threads on /toy/ since McFarlane took over. DC General before McFarlane took over basically only existed maybe for 4 days max and had 60 posts total every 2 months from 2009 to 2019.
