The longbox heroes line looks cool but the amazing heroes were cooler. The secret wars form factor juat worked better for these sorts of figures I think. ToyOtter shared a bunch of mock ups for other indie heroes onnhis facebook btw. Maxx looked awesome, really Tick and Rocketeer make me think they have an entire roster for a neo-LCBH line ready to go.

I wouldn't mind this, especially if that leather jacket comes off. But not sure if I want this ENOUGH to commit to the pay NOW for a tariff upcharge and for unknown S&H fees, when the price is already slightly above what the retail on the first wave's single figures ran.

I think the much greater level of excitement for these 6" ones also contributed to their decision. Tooling costs are easier to absorb when the figures can sell for a higher amount like these will. Plus, they've got a lot of shared parts with the Monster Force stuff so these Rocketeer figures are even cheaper to make

Way to not understand how any of that works.... BBTS doesn't produce any of these toys. The separate small companies such as Fresh Monkey still handle all of production and development, BBTS just fronts them the funds from the pre-orders and is the exclusive seller of the product after it's made.
