Joseph is definitely the worst, his proportions in particular are also kinda fucky. Like if they did Araki's modern twink art style but stretched it over Joseph's anime design.

Yeah. I'm starting to regret buying every repaint, because I kinda of feel obligated now, even with orange dio, but the prices for 10+ yo sculpts is heinous.

It's true, no one talks about the Medicos HNK line. If I have to speak for my taste, I hope with all my heart that they start making the SAS BIG of the HNK line too. Imagine a Kenshiro BIG, with a much improved sculpt and maybe the colors of the second anime series on the island of Shura

I feel like this is destined to fail, just like VAH and Imagination Works. If you're not going to do 1/12, do 1/6. There is no point fucking around with 7-11 inch scales.

That's because they are, it's their licensing loophole. I think it's all moot because they're unlikely to cover the depth of characters SAS has, it's just Bandai cashing in on a popular property because they know a lot of casual fans will just buy the main characters(and villains that they might also make) and then dip.

It's the comprehensive Jojo line out there. Basically every part is covered as far as main characters and antagonists go. They're even starting to branch out and do side characters now.

12'' or 1/6 isn't as big in Japan as it is outside of it, it seems. Obviously there's some lines like RAH that are long running, but ther's long been a history of figures(and lots of model kits and statues) in the 7-11 inch range that are popular over there. Especially with space being a concern.

They're arguably date or outside of trends when it comes to articulation and engineering and QC, but they nail the look so well I think a lot of people are willing to overlook any other shortcomings.

It seems Wakeup-pipo will have a WF exclusive piece revealed soon, I wonder what it could be? My only guesses are that it could a pair of the wrecking balls with the satellites exploding off, or an alternate head sculpt with the Menger sponge effect. Or maybe even 20th Century Boy since Hot Pants came with Tubular Bells, probably won't happen but it's still exciting.

Who knows. We still haven't got C-Moon either. They started going back and doing more minor characters/stands after prosciutto and they've gone back and done a couple from each arc since. It will probably come everntually, like Tusk Act 4.
Did anyone get the Scary Monster Statue? I was going to pass, but glad I went ahead. It may not articulate, but it looks really nice.

I'm grateful to have never gotten into JoJo's. I got the FOTNS figures, which are incredibly beautiful, but they're very pricey. Thankfully I only have about 4 or 5 more to go before completing my collection whereas you guys are probably on your 300th figure atm, with another 250 to go before completing.

I feel like they've gone through a few phases. At one point they picked up a bunch of new licences, like Baoh, Ajin, Tokyo Ghoul, Parasyte. Then they had a big re-release run where they reprinted all their Jojo figures. Now they are back to just Jojo and HNK and looks like they are ramping up with new figs. We've got 10 coming just this year already.

I have it and I can tell you that it's the weakest figure in the SBR lineup. The legs are what kills it, they are so stiff and barely work. Also, the best face, which is the half transformation, is only included in the exclusive version.

I've got a few over the years. The very early ones like jotaro and dio are riddled with issues now due to their age. The joint get brittle and snag easily. The later ones seem better, but I'd still be careful.

No, it's better this way. I viscerally hate bonuses that are only included with pre-orders or for certain stores, especially when it's a faceplate.
It seems to me that Joseph doesn't contain a smiley face outside of bonuses.
a moonrune text bubble is irrelevant, it takes a few minutes to do yourself

Bruno, Abbaccio, Diavolo, Part 4 Josuke, DIO, and Part 3 Jotaro are the ones I can name off the top of my head, they come in blank bootlegs of the old medicos packaging or packaging where the JOJO bit on the sides of the box is replaced with LEGEND CREATION. I think the BIG figs have bootlegs too.

I've got my fingers crossed for you anon. I'm taking my chances on all 3. Sucks SP is limited to 1700 units. I've been lucky with the recent ones that have had 2000 made, but lost green fugo when there was only 1800.
