How does Hasbro decide to essentially make the first 6 inch Indy line (yes there was the figma but it was trash) and manage to fuck it up? Indiana Jones is a beloved franchise, full of interesting characters to choose from. What is Indy known for? Punching nazis. Guess what, no Nazis for him to punch outside of Toht and arguably Donovan. Well.. how about the thuggees from Temple of Doom? They did make ToD Indy right? NOPE, no thuggees, no Mola Ram, not even Willie Scott. What’s even the point of the Temple of Doom line when it’s just 3 variations of Indy and Short Round? All they can do is stand around. Picrel is concept art I found on Reddit and it seems like they could make a better line than Hasbro did. Half the line is just dudes in suits and the other half is Indy. Some of those are even Indy in suits. Where are all the bad guys for Indy to fight? Where is the fun in this line?
