If you're a company with an existing inventory you don't want to start selling only new items for 2x the price or more. You spread out the cost over everything for a relatively minor price hike on all goods. Because no one is going to look at figure A priced at $25 and then figure B, the exact same size and style, at $50(or more) and buy it. But people may still buy them if all of them are $28.
This is basic fucking business economics and no I don't give a fuck about super 7, I own exactly 2 items from them so a fan I am not.
