Do you collect toys from mid/bad movies?

I’m curious if the quality of a film or tv show will prevent you from buying toys based off of it.
For example, I’m a huge Star Wars guy and while I did not purchase any toys based off of the sequel trilogy, I did however buy the complete black series line for Rogue One. Partly because it’s during the OT era, but I personally wasn’t the biggest fan of Rogue One’s final product. I think the “Gilroy Cut” of the film was far inferior to the bits and pieces we saw from the original teasers and trailers of what would have been Gareth Edward’s original Rogue One film. I can only imagine why’s that original cut of the film might have looked like, because god knows Disney will never release it.
But all of that is neither here nor there, the question is, will the quality of the thing that a toyline is based on affect whether or not you’ll buy the toys? Or will you buy them anyways if they’re cool toys? I like to think most people just buy cool toys rather than just if they like what they’re based on.
