Over the weekend I had the pleasure of visiting YesterToys while visiting in Virginia. For those unaware, YesterToys is actually owned by Randy Falk who is the brand manager for National Entertainment Collectibles Association, or as you probably better know them, NECA. They had a very wide selection of products and fair prices, especially on their used items. I actually was able to have a conversation with Randy, albeit very brief as he was very busy, but he was very kind and clearly very knowledgeable about toys. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience and I’d recommend the store if you’re in the area. Near me I have a Replay Toys, which I believe is a chain, but locally owned. They’re very good as well for pricing, I actually picked up a figure there recently that goes for $40 online for only $30.
I’m curious, does anyone else have a locally owned toy store they frequent and enjoy?
