How important is it for an action figure to be able to balance on one foot without a stand?

Well it's nice when they can but I am okay with anime girls with tiny feet needing a stand to do it. They usually come with one so that's good. Figures that don't come with stands would be very disappointing if they can't stand on their own.

Not at all. It's neat if they can, but I'd never leave a figure posed like that without a stand because they'd just end up falling over at some point and possibly taking some other figures down with them.

figma and figuarts usually have good and natural balance because they use a plastic that's very light. I rarely use stands when I pose mine.

Balancing figures on two feet can be a dick sometimes. It always breaks me when i get a figure all balanced and posed and ready for the shelf only to realize, AGAIN, that what works on the table aint gonna work onthe shelf. Especially with other figures around it and their centers of gravity.

Depends on the design and if it comes with a stand. If it's supplied with a stand I don't care because I'm not gonna be putting it in dynamic poses unsupported anyway.
