For whatever reason, they feel beholden to always post on /toy/, because they either have no other hobbies or are just autistic like that. So we're stuck with their inane musings.
Someone who actually enjoys their hobby is instead going to be posting about their hobby, their latest new thing, trying to share it with someone else, instead of doing what OP does.
I get it, sometimes you find some weird thing someone else does and want to point it out, but to create a thread about some innocuous or bring it up again after it was posted 10 months ago? crazy.
