What would be best sets to get a lot of bricks for building MOCs? I gave most of my childhood legos to my niece, but I feel like building some stuff

Your best bet is to hit up fb marketplace and try to find someone who doesn’t know what they have and grab a big lot for ~$100.
Look for “legos” or “legoes”.
I might grab this one I see a potential forestman and black falcon. I would guess there might be a castle hidden in these parts.

How do you even get started on making landscapes for MOCs? Just buy a ton of various tiles, plates, and slope bricks in tan/gray/green colors off bricklink and go from there?

nta, these buckets are pretty good for getting a bunch of various colored bricks. My only gripe is that they don't have anywhere near enough plate pieces. 2x4s, 2x2s, 2x6s, etc. I wish there were a creator bucket that was just assorted plates

If they were taken on a cellphone then the rotation gets stored in metadata. Since 4chan scrubs metadata it reverts to the bitmap orientation the photo was taken in. I screenshot phone pics before posting for that reason and also because 10,000 megapixel photos on 4chan are a pain in the ass to display

So I've been wanting to do a Hankyu 9300 series train LEGO MOC that would fit on the LEGO train tracks. Asked chatgpt if it's already been done, apparently not but they said they could generate a studio ldr that would work.
