What the fuck. Why release only the same two shit characters within the line so far? I hope they branch out and do toph or azula or ty-lee and others soon.

Top figure is the regular figure class-which only has aang and zuko in the assortment atm. Bottom one is the deluxe 6-inch figure line-which only has zuko in the assortment but IIRC an aang figure is advertised on the back of his box

Jazwares has no direction, holy shit. They get good IP but make the worst decisions regarding them and kill line after line. The kiddie Aang looks fine for a cheap $10 but what child in 2025 wants an Aang toy? The super articulated line is a little better but the quality is still worse than other similar brands in the toy aisle and like you said, the fact they have only one figure from each line released at once is so stupid!

From SDCC, apparently the reason few toys are coming out now is because the movie got delayed until next year, so they're now holding off toys from the show to come out in early 2026 instead.

If the movie came out this year, then we would be seeing more, but they can't have the same character shelfwarming for a whole year until the movie toys come out.

Which is crazy because their Fortnite figures were awesome! Both the 6" and the 4". Almost every single 6" had a unique sculpt, multiple faces, accessories, etc all with really good articulation pretty much in line with Marvel Legends.
Why the heck can't the figure out that all toy lines should get that kind of sensible articulation? It's not rocket science!

Nope. This will kill the future toys quicker than anything. Have one figure from each line peg warm for months on end? What kind of strategy is that? From a show that is two decades old and kids hav prob zero familiarity with.

These look nothing like the characters from the original show either. They both look like dog shit. The Aang from the kids line and the deluxe Zuko with his cheap little soft goods poncho and crappy head sculpts. These may not fail because of the movie delay. They will probably fail because they are just shitty figures.

Not really. Those had weirdly realistic sculpts but he faces were way more accurate. These Jazwares bodies look more accurate minus the ugly soft goods, but the heads are so bad and look like bootlegs

Hard pill to swallow, but avatar sucks for 1/12 and other premium scales. The designs are just way too simple and generic without the bending. Some 1/24 or 1/18 scale figures with a shit load of blast effects and spring loaded missiles would be far more popular.

Like just look at those How to Train your dragon toys in the corner of the OP picture. Those sell at $20 and give you a big ass dragon toy and one to two 1/18 scale figures. Imagine if you removed the dragon AND the second character from the equation and used all that plastic and budget towards articulation and effects. You could make avatar mode aang with airball and giant four element effect parts or Red Comet Ozai with massive flamethrowers and firejets for less than twenty dollars. Then you also have the opportunity to do all the side characters for more affordable price points and scale accurate creatures and vehicles down the line as well. Shit like pic related should be the bare MINIMUM that any of these avatar toys should come with.
