yes, they did contract from the covid era bubble, but the most recent one that popped off with Prismatic Evolution has been going strong for about a year if insane levels of scalping far beyond what we saw in 2020.
MTG has started raising msrp prices on product as they had the insanely profitable and scalpable FF set (made 200 million in a day btw) and prices are still elevated. People have been predicting magic to wean down in players as the awful game design came in from Universes Beyond spam for a few years now, but it's sustained.
These are card game example and not perfectly applicable for Labubu, but I think it has come relevance.
tl;dr: there's so many people out there buying shit now that things that look like bubbles and may be bubbles can last for a long long time cause of the sheep out there
