i'm a complete beginner to woodwork and more advanced model railway stuff. How do people do model railway bases? I hope to one day set up a large model railway in my attic but dont know what the standard methods are of building benches/shelves for the tracks. my plans for the layout dont involve much scenery, rather just long stretches of track with maybe a foot either side for scenery.
