The problem is with factory assembled toys, you paid the money but you don't really control how good the qualities are.
It's not just transformers. Have you seen how screwed up constantly bandai with their metal robot and meta build line. And they charge like twice the price as most large MP figures for them.
The least you should have is for thing not to break on you when you trying to do thing to the thing is designed to do.
I wonder if people is willing to pay $30 for a deluxe figure and more for other classes if Hasbro can promise at those prices you literally won't be getting any figure with any QC problem- kinda like the current diaclone line. But the problem is I think parents are still buying transformers toy for their children.
