So does the knock off also come with the tv Mario 1 scroller? I have the OF Lego kit and even that doesn’t work super well.

Depends on the manufacturer and vendor. From a set nearly indistinguishable from original Lego, to inconsistent colors, inconsistent clutch, deformed pieces, unsorted pieces not separated in bags, missing pieces, missing instructions, wild substitutions, bricks covered in mold release, and someone's pubes. And everything in between.

Those three points are pretty standard for official Lego these days. In fact, almost everything except the pubes happens far too frequently for the price they charge.
