Is absolute cope. The SHF is superior in every way, nevermind the fact that the chainsaw on the head is way too short on the Total Anime figure. Still hoping they make Reze if they ever decide to make more.

the only issue is the height, it's too short for 1/10th and too tall for 1/12th, why the 6.5" scale?
also i wouldn't say the total anime faces are THAT bad, the mha line's faces are really good

Eh, I'd sooner trust the manga than the anime which already changed some of the designs of the characters, and in that regard, I find the proportions of the SHF a lot closer to how Denji has been drawn in the manga where he's far from a lanky guy. I always felt like the S1 anime reference model made him too lanky-looking and yeah I guess the Total Anime is close if you prefer that. There's also the fact that the SHF can actually pull off far more dynamic poses as a whole and its height actually matches how tall Denji/CSM should be vs the Total Anime being way too tall.

Yeah, and it's still too short even for the smaller head saw. Should be at least half a centimeter to a centimeter longer to get the silhouette right but they still made it too short. Nevermind how both the anime and the manga exagerrate the headsaw depending on the action scene so either way, the Total Anime comes up looking to small. Again it's a good figure especially if you're on a budget, but the SHF is leaps and bounds the better figure overall.

Wrong. Maybe if you want to stick with the anime model sure, but most of the time it goes around the elbows in the manga and there's plenty of panels proving this. If we're being specific, the chainsaws CAN change how they sprout out of his arms so they aren't always set in a certain way. Even so, more often in the manga it goes around the elbows.

Well I did us both a favor and I was right: manga usually has it go around the elbows while the anime tries to have it go through them. So yeah, I guess depending on your preference, the Total Anime is closer to the anime while the SHF has more fidelity to the manga.

You are right about the articulation tho. I just don’t think it’s worth the extra $50 or realistically extra $100 since it’s sold out. obviously the quality of the joints and paint is better on the shf. The jazzware guy has hella tight ankle joints that feel fragile and the right knee is frozen on mine. The ol’ hot water trick couldn’t fix it but like I said I could just get a replacement From Bezos also, the modular limbs make it very easy to recreate the gore too

Fair. Again, I don't wanna shit on the Total Anime since I genuinely think it's a good figure for the price, but I rest my case. Like I said, I'd absolutely love it if they made Reze in the same line too, and I say this as someone who has the CSM SHF and have Reze on pre-order as well.

Your picture alone proves how the chainsaws going between the elbows is close to the anime but a clear mismatch to the manga.

Yep, it's why I tend to display him with Western figures instead so it's not nearly as jarring. I'm really hoping we get a Reze as well so he has someone to hang out within the same scale.

I like the Chainsaw Man, Deku, and Anya I have for the Total Anime line, but I do wish they'd had a boot cut or ankle swivel. That seriously hinders their posability in some cases.

Have there been any new announcements for the line lately? I think vigilante Deku, Dabi, and Shigaraki were the last I saw.
