Apparently a bunch of these got recalled and had to be destroyed, but I heard there was more to it. Something to do with some kind of tax write-off, there's a theory they never actually made the full quantity and the "recall" was a cover-up. The company gets weirdly litigious about people looking into the whole mess too- a bunch of YouTube videos got taken down last month for trying to investigate it.

Had to watch my mom and sister torture my niece with this shit. The next year I explained she was way too young to understand what they were doing, and it didn't help that they often blame her for things she has no control over year round.

I think its annoying the packaging isnt more incognito. Ive been doing this with my kids for a few years now and seeing stuff in the store is an actual pain in the ass when im with the kids.
