>>11636358The titan class was only recently introduced with Metroplex, and despite the fact that Metroplex was fairly well received by fans and sold well, the bean counters weren't convinced yet, and this was also around the time that mainline transformers were being hit with some heavy cost cutting, so Fort Max was just made as Metroplex remold which really just did not work (still did well enough to justify keeping the size class around though).
Damn shame too considering every titan after that was a unique mold and the scale ended up being pretty successful in the long run. Fort Max needs a completely original do over but that's not gonna happen for years and years with the way Hasbro works.
