If you pull a gun on someone, best case scenario is the cops get called, you spend a night in jail, and your criminal charges go nowhere. Worst case scenario could range from anywhere between going to state prison for life for shooting someone to death, provoking someone else to shoot you to death in self-defense, getting maimed by a stray bullet, maiming someone else with a stray bullet and paying hospital expenses out the ass, etc. Rural whites mishandle guns all the time. They just have enough of a functioning self-preservation instinct to keep them out of trouble most of the time.
Black people don’t think about the future, though, they just see guns as problem solvers. Someone’s acting up, not doing what I want? Whip the Glock out. Situation gets worse? Shieeeet, man, I ain’t do nothing!
