-Hammond Collection Mussasaurus, Sinoceratops, and Ornitholestes have reached store shelves, but for some reason, Dryosaurus is still MIA
-Blokees Indominus and Mosasaurus shown off
-Creative Beast Studios has shipped the Mammoths from their Beasts of the Cenozoic line and shown off the new Kelenken at Legions con.
-Nanmu Tyrannosaurs should be shipping out this month, with the Spinosaurus shipping in late Q1 2026.

Great Hammond Collection wave. Ornitholestes might be their best small theropod. Sinoceratops is definitely too small, but the swapable parts is great new add.

Swappable mouths instead of opening mouths is absolute trash. The fact that they can do perfect opening mouths on their cheap shit figures but fucked up the opening mouths on like at least half of all Hammond collection dinosaurs is one of the biggest what the fucking retard fuck things I've ever seen. This is a step backwards, not forwards. Kill yourself for supporting such a dumb fucking feature. Not being able to figure out the eyes for the line for years was also retarded. Glass eyes is a great idea and they manage just fine on their fucking toddler line but somehow managed to fuck up 80% of the line there too. The whole thing is a monkeys paw of embarrassment.

I think the main issue with the jaw swap is the position of the peg hole which makes it annoying to remove. But I still think it's better than not having an open jaw at all which is what happened with the Stego and Trike. Also the swappable hands are nice in the other figures. I wish the raptors has swappable hands like Ornitholestes same goes for the Cory and the Para. I would have bought a couple more of each if I could properly have them posed like Mussasaurus.

Yeah, the size was a major letdown after they gave us the big stego. The HC Sino is closer to Nanmu's 1/35 scale than the HC 1/18.

I decided to go with the Mythic Legions Frost troll. I asked the guys in the Mythic Legions general >>11641696 they said the ogre scale figures are 9-inches tall, so that makes it the same height as the mammoth, which is a little bigger than I'd like, but at the same time, it's closer than the standard figures which at around 6.5 inches are a bit too short for the Mammoth.

I didn't get the 1/35, but I'm also thinking of grabbing another 1/18 to be a Bull and a 1/35 to act as an older juvenile.

Speaking of Bigfoot. The Hiya Kong works pretty well because of his longer arms. Alternatively, if you pose him on all fours he's an alright Gigantopithicus substitute.
