His initial release sold out completely; when the package refresh came along, it was too close to the initial release, do only the people who missed him the first time bought him, and Hasbro's overcompensating on the second run left them with a ton of extras. They've since learned to space out their rereleases, but seem to still attribute the error they made as a sign of disinterest - a shame, because I can guarantee Cryotek would sell even among people who don't know the character due to it being the better color scheme.

They've had two (now three, excluding the Core version, which would have made four) molds to choose from, and people have been demanding him to complete their Seeker teams since Siege. Is there some kind of licensing issue involved with him or something? Because there really is no logical explanation for why they seem to be actively avoiding him.
