>>11653580Those heights are bullshit though and you'd be hard pressed to find an actual consistent source. They range from 7'8 to over 9 feet tall and in-between as well according to people who you're not going to look for for the source anyway.
Either literally every normal person in Greece in a giant and no one ever says anything at all about it, and no one ever mentions how Kratos shrinks and his blades of Chaos are never shown to shift in size, nor is young Kratos depicted as bigger in the same cutscene, nor is Helios' head and all the enemies. Mimir and Tyr were also in Greece too and never mentioned the height changes.
Every normal mortal is around the same height and then we get into a new universe and that same standard applies to that too, but we shrunk, even though nothing depicted ever shows this great size. Redundant. Kratos was 8 feet tall but he never looked huge and it had no narrative impact, and then he actually shrunk but he's still the same size depicted against normal people like he was in the day.
If it had an actual impact in the story and they said all Greeks were giants too that'd be one thing. But even then I wouldn't want my Kratos to look wildly out of place for the first time ever in a toy display because "ahktually he's 8-10 feet tall, he just never looks it because he's always around mortals his same size or slightly bigger."
