No amount of deodorizers is going to help that. You need an air purifier working the entire time, blowing air away from your toys to physically stop tar/smoke from developing ontop of your toys. If you're stupid enough to smoke in the same room as your toys, don't even bother with an air purifier.
And once that tar and smoke gets onto your toys (if it smells, there's a thin layer of greasy shit on it now) you need to physically scrub it off with a brush and warm soapy water.
btw, just because something is food grade doesn't mean it's archival safe. So ziploc isn't actually long term. If you want to be anal about it, comic bags are great but normal mylar bags can be bought for cheap on amazon now.
