I think noone cares or know who owns the rights to that design.
Since it is very generic, you probably can put it under homage design than just stealing.
Pic related could be Bumblebee, but he isnt.

Probably when you can't distinguish an official toy from the homage. I bet >>11661112 was probably close to crossing the line with how specific its design is. They likely did a lot of legal research before releasing that figure.

Color is good. It hides any IP infringement and gold/yellow is a good contrast to dark blue.
But i am not so sure if this is more a Battlestar Galactica h9mage.

You cant do real gold color for kids toys. So you go for those orange plastic. It kinda resemble antique gold.

Imaginext was on fire towards the end. All of those blind bags series were incredible. It was one of my favourite things to collect and I was reduced to finding Krogers or Publix that had mini toy sections to find new ones.

The Thanos figure from the '90s Fantastic Four line came with a wearable bracelet with 2 skulls on it. One skull looks like a yautja with a xenomorph face and the other looks like a xenomorph with a yautja face. So Alien vs Predator is referenced in a legally distinct way.
