Thanks to AI and an emphasis on "abstract art," it's simply harder than it used to be to find a competent artist. That's one skill that's getting killed off. I'm definitely getting Zap, he's the most overlooked character on the original comic team. I was hoping he'd get an update on his load out instead of an upscaled original but I might splurge and get a 3rd party kit.

Zap has always been a light skinned hispanic. The same as Dial tone being a light skinned Italian. The woke dogshit however ruined both figures by making Dial Tone swarthy as fuck and Zap dark skinned as fuck because to the DEI brain dead woketards, Mexians and Italians have to be dark skinned as fuck and light skinned ones can not exist.

Zap is a figure that should get more updates, he's painfully underused. Back with the ME stuff, I swapped his head and gear onto one of the Retaliation Troopers and it just worked perfectly.

Grunt's very generic-ness is what makes him interesting. He's the "Average Soldier" so he'll always find a spot in the G.I. Joe release schedule pretty early on. But Zap usually gets overshadowed as the "Bazooka Guy" by, well, Bazooka.
