Radio Headset: Custom made using misc. black nylon, elastic webbing, black bbi buttons and Fabri-Tac. The boom mic is made from an electric guitar string painted black. The mic diaphragm is hole punched from a plastic DML Navy SEAL gloved hand. A small hole was made in it to attach onto the mic boom. Then it was also painted black with flat acrylic paint. The small-coiled wire coming from the headsets earphone is a piece of 28-gauge PVC coated solid core wire. It was coiled into shape by winding the wire around a thin and straighten out paper clip. The bbi push switch's button was painted OD. Between the push switch and radio is a piece of 26-gauge solid core/PVC wire. The wire attachments are all made with miniature sections of heat shrink tubing. The DML Motorola Radio is located in a small vest pouch on the left side of the LBV. The horizontal pouch was removed from the upper right of the vest and secured to the open loops on the vest under the left arm.
BDU's: bbi EF SWAT Team "Barret". The chest pockets were relocated to the upper arms and the shirt is tucked into the pants. Not seen is a narrow elastic belt to hold the pants tight. Also, the pants have belt loops that worked nice for this purpose.
Body Armor: bbi Night Ops SEAL armor vest modified by removing one of the Velcro waist panels for a more streamed lined fit. Also the silver hardware on the shoulder straps was painted black.
SOE CQB Vest: bbi Green Beret's "Eagle/Rogue" modified by painting the OD nylon fabric black with acrylic paint. Replaced the fastex buckles on the front and upper rear with DKY upgrade buckles that have a bit more streamed line look. Added two tri-glide buckles to the shoulder adjustment straps in front. Also added extra bbi black webbing and buttons for holding the knife under the left shoulder's utility loops.
