True, but there are plenty of toys that get talked about in multiple threads. Like sexy Figma girls in Figma gen and /ctg/ or Berserk in Figma/SHF gen and the Fantasy figure general.
I just wasn't going to exclude what is probably the most popular Chinese brand right now. Especially since they seem to be starting to make things that aren't necessarily coombait like the Jar Mimic. Though you just know that's someone's fetish.

Finally the general everyone waited for, we can use it to post smaller brands here without constant bitching from purists.
Anyways, is Sexy Ice going to be Bombusbee exclusive? This will kinda piss me off, I hate exclusives, it's not very collector friendly.
On Gundamit a lot of things are missing, like the dogs, and preorders are already sold out, when no painted prototypes were even shown.
Never used Bombusbee before, do they have free shipping to Europe too?

I don't think so. No online storefronts seem to have every release. I forgot the dogs existed because they're so unobtainium. Also I hope the guy that owns pic related calms the fuck down once Unkval Anaconda Unit is up for preorder.

OP here. I personally have nothing against Storm Collectables, but they encompass a huge amount of IPs that all have generals on /toy/ already. I would limit it to IPs that ONLY Storm Collectables makes figures for at this time.

I'm on the fence about popular IPs and think they're a bit too volatile concerning thread discussion vs. shit flinging about which brand is a better "figure" for each popular character. Probably not. There's a reason Third Party Transformers is it's own general.

From what they've shown of her so far, she's a heavy retool of the Mantis Girl, which isn't a bad thing but I would also like a different female body instead of just "twiggy."

I'm a bit worried that they're announcing a bit too much, but I love that weird Locust Unkval guy so I'm hoping that's next on the docket after the dogs. I can't believe I have all four of their releases. I would say the only one I feel is overhyped is Manticore.

Yeah we have the dogs, Locust, Red Dragon, and they've also teased Scorpion, Ant, the witch, those weird ass Polynian-looking robots and now pic related as exclusives. It's just too much, I think Sexyice just releases 3 toys per year right?

These chinese companies have been really going hard on the literal bugmen. It's a really cool aesthetic but overlapping like this I'd probably have to choose one over the other. Just based on the silhouette I'm probably liking the other one better, whoever is making it.

May have mixed it up with Romankey's ant with the swords and cursed arm or something.

bug people is definitely a thing, there were like half a dozen different companies doing at least one at wonfest. I'm not sure if there's some specific impetus for it, or it's just a way to be different from the big muscly dudes and sexy ladies that make up most of the rest of the market without being too far from either.

Because they are trying to copy the success. Same with Jada, they made the Street Fighter 2 line which got really popular, so now everyone is doing SF figs.
For me, how Sexy Ice is standing out is the 80s/90s anime dark cyberpunk vibe.
