Yeah. I'm about the same after tax. 6 figure salary and budget about $1,000 a month on figures which gets me pretty much what every I want.
Space has always been a bigger issue than cost.

Do you consistently find enough figures every month that will amount to $1000? Maybe it's my economically conservative brain due to being poorer, but I can barely find 10 or slightly more import figures such as SHF, Mafex, Revoltech every month which I want.

NTA but my monthly fund for toys is lumped into a "fun" bucket, meaning anything I do for fun falls into it. Of course, I'll make exceptions once or twice a year, but usually I stick to the monthly budget I set for myself.
