Same reason we still get dogshit like Masters of the Universe, TMNT, and Thundercats despite the fact we should’ve moved on from these old dated relics decades ago.

All of those reboots definitely felt like they were reanimated corpses wearing thier skin.

[spoiler:lit] TMNT is very hit and miss, the nickelodeon reboot captured the spirit of the characters very well and I liked it a lot. Also the last animated movie had a great vibe to it [/spoiler:lit]
