Why not make your own Marble Run parts? I know that's kind of like saying 'why doesn't everyone make their own stuff', but seriously, marble runs are easy as fuck to make.

BTW, i never had these as a kid neither and i spent a ton of time outdoors. Of course, i lived in front of a giant park and my parent's backyard is huge.

I never had a Marble Run, but a kid I was friends with had parents who owned a kite store (yeah) that also carried a high-end version of this that used wooden blocks with tunnels bored through them. His parents didn't mind us setting up huge works with it on the store floor because it helped sell the sets, I guess.

I've no issue with people buying these, I just like building things. I mean, hell, you could make some crazy ones out of Lego, K'nex has done some marvelous marble runs, and then there's the satisfaction of taking some random objects and making a quick one against a wall.
